Japan- a country known asĀ  the land of rising sun and cherry flower, is ideal destination for you to visit. Perhaps you only know that Yen is the currency of Japan and that the Tea Ceremony plays a significant cultural role in Japanese society, but there is much more to this country.

Tokyo: It is the capital city of Japan and a hot spot for the tourists. It is not just another big city. You will be spell bound by its beautiful gardens and for the techno enthusiasts, it offers a storehouse of gorgeous gadgets. The Meiji Jingu Shrine, the Imperial Palace and Disneyland Tokyo are of the sites that you must see in Tokyo. The Tea Ceremonies and local festivals throw a light on Japanese culture.
Fuji Rock Festival: It is organized every year towards the end of August at Niigata. If you are a music lover and if your are in Japan at this time of the year, then be ready to rock in the Fuji Rock Festival.
Kyoto: It is the old capital of Japan and today it stands as a traditional heart of the country. It displays Japanese history with a perfect Japanese elegance. Some of the places in Kyoto that are a must see are Kinkakuji, the Golden Temple; Kyo Mizu Dera, a temple that sits on the hillside on huge wooden stilts; and Nijojo. The Nijojo Castle was built in the days of the Shogun.
Tokyo Motor Show: It id held at the end of October. Though named as Tokyo Motor Show, the actual site of the show is Chiba. The show is organized on a large scale and is a big hit with those who are crazy about cars and bikes. In the show you will find anything and everything on wheels powered by an engine.
Hakone: It is situated at a couple of hours drive from Tokyo. Mount Fuji is the chief attraction of the place. You will have a lifetime experience while walking in the hills or taking a a pirate boat trip across the lake. Eggs boiled in the volcanic water pools are the local specialty of the place. Though the smell may be a little overpowering but the taste of the eggs is really good.
